Project Description:
1. .NET application for cash collection process.
2. .NET application for Mandatory Reporting to Romanian Authorities.
3. ODS (Operational Data Store)
Methodology: We work only Agile, according to a model adapted from Spotify (our Agile
implementation is unique in the market)
Area &Application type: Our area is in charge with building new features and maintaining a
business processes for many internal departments cross bank: HR, Operations, Security
Administration, Compliance, Finance, IT, etc.
Team & Way of working:
In Generic Services Team there are 12 colleagues, organized in 1 Squad as following: 5
Feature Engineers, 4 Developers, 2 QA and 1 Chapter Lead.
Our team has experience working for different business lines creating workflows and
functionalities used cross bank: HR, Operations, Security Administration, Compliance,
Finance, IT, etc.
We create functionalities for multiple Product Owners and Stakeholders cross Bank.
Your Day to Day
Collaborates with System Analysts, Testers, Business Users, Product Owners and
other support teams: Infrastructure, Security administration, etc.;
· Develop and implement .NET custom applications and writing clean, semantic code;
· Code Review and Pair Programming on different projects developed within the team;
· Perform unit and integration tests to ensure software conformity to the functional
and technical specifications;
· Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our applications and
functionalities for Internal Users;
· Challenge the business requirements, if needed, being ready to explain different
approaches of the proposed solution;
· Provide support and investigation for production incidents (as 3rd line support);
· Follow Agile Way of Working principles on day to day business having an open
mindset.
What you bring to the team
Experience
· University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred; equivalent
experience will be considered;
· 3 – 5 years of proven experience in the role of .NET Developer.
Knowledge
You like to write simple, clean code and understand the importance of
refactoring and SOLID principles. You are a big fan of design patterns.
You acknowledge the importance of unit testing and do not consider it as an
optional practice.
Experience with .NET (.NET Framework or .NET Core), SQL Server, SQL Server
Integration Services, IIS.
Web development experience (Web API, JavaScript) – knowledge of web components is a plus
PowerShell
REST API and jQuery;
Working with additional development tools: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code,
SSMS, GIT, AzureDevops, Confluence, ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of ETL, database design
Nice to know:
Considered a Plus
· Knowledge of banking processes and products is a plus;
· Experienced in agile way of working.
